Ann McLeod Gravelle

As a child I was encouraged to explore, appreciate,    and enjoy art through many different mediums. In my    journey I have dabbled in paint, clay, stone, pastel,   and now wool! How exciting it is to keep exploring new things.

My inspiration stems from the beauty of Pennsylvania and from my roots growing up in North Dakota and Minnesota where I was blessed to be surrounded by  the wide open sky and fields, clear lakes, and lush woodlands.

Some of my most treasured art encounters have      been in local community art organizations and            the experiences shared with many amazing artists,          students, and teachers over the years.

“Art is, after all, only a trace –like a footprint which shows that one has walked bravely and in great happiness.”
― Robert Henri
